SU Baseball Falls To Bridgewater, Nats Rally For Win, A’s Blast O’s
Visiting Bridgewater posted a 7-run seventh inning to rally past Shenandoah 12-10 in an ODAC contest yesterday at Bridgeforth Field.
The Hornets were in control, leading 8-4 until the Eagles took advantage of 5 SU walks and a hit batsman in that big seventh inning, and needed only 3 hits in that frame. The Hornets fall to 15-9 overall and 7-7 in the ODAC, and heads to Dickinson for a 3:30 non-league contest today.

The Washington Nationals got a 2-out, ninth inning home run from Victor Robles and a mammoth 3-run homer in the tenth from Juan Soto to beat the Philadelphia Phillies last night 10-6. Trailing 6-2, the Nats scored 8 runs in the final four frames, including 4 in the tenth, to secure the victory. Sean Doolittle nailed down the win in relief and is now 3-0 on the season. The Nationals wrap up the series in Philadelphia tonight, starting at 6:35 on Sports Radio 1450.
The Oakland A’s scored 5 runs in the second inning, and cruised to a 13-2 win over Baltimore at Camden Yards last night. The 2 teams play again tonight at 7:05.
Capitals playoff hockey begins tomorrow night when the caps host Carolina in game one of a best-of-seven opening round series. The play-by-play coverage begins at 7:15 on Sports Radio 1450.
