SU Baseball Wins, Harper Homers In Homecoming, O’s Stay Hot
Shenandoah University baseball got back in the win column yesterday by outslugging York, Pa., at Bridgeforth Field. Tyler Kroll and Tristan Baker each had 2-run homers to lead the 10-hit SU attack. The 11-7 Hornets return to ODAC play this afternoon with a 4pm game at W&L.

The Philadelphia Phillies are off to their first 4-0 start since 1915 after crushing the Nationals 8-2 last night in chilly DC. The game marked a triumphant return to Washington by Bryce Harper, who quieted the boos with a monster home run in the 8th inning. To add injury to insult, the Nats lost shortstop Trea Turner indefinitely with a fractured finger. The two teams meet again today starting at 12:35 on Sports Radio 1450.
The Baltimore Orioles won their fourth straight game, with a 2-1 win in Toronto. Andrew Cashner pitched six strong frames for the O’s, who improved to 4-1 on the season. The Orioles wrap up the series in Toronto this afternoon at 4:07.
The Capitals return home to face Montreal tomorrow night at 7 on Sports Radio 1450. In other Caps news, defenseman Michal Kempny has been ruled out for the remainder of the season and the playoffs with a hamstring pull.
