Wednesday Night NFL Football, Cavs Roll Past Red Flash, Buckeyes Are Back
If all goes well, there will be a rare NFL Wednesday game this afternoon, with the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers. The game was originally scheduled to be played Thanksgiving Day, but has been postponed twice due to positive COVID-19 positives. It’s only the second Wednesday game since 1949. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:40 PM in Pittsburgh.
In college basketball, the 15th-ranked Virginia Cavaliers rolled past St. Francis 76-51 in Charlottesville. Forward Jay Huff led the way with 13 points for the 2-1 Cavs. Tonight, number-11 WVU will be tested when they play number-one Gonzaga in the Jimmy V Classic. Tip off is at 7pm on ESPN.
The Ohio State Buckeyes are back. After canceling their football game Saturday against Illinois, the 4th-ranked Buckeyes resumed team activities yesterday, and hope to play their scheduled game against Michigan State this weekend.
And, NBA training camps opened yesterday.
