Shenandoah University Quarterback Hayden Bauserman earned All-South Region honors in selections announced yesterday by D3 Football Dot Com. The 2018 ODAC Offensive Player Of The Year was named to the second team after leading the nation in a number of passing categories.
Hornet women’s basketball will take on Goucher tonight at 7 at the Wilkins Center. SU is 3-4 on the season.
The Washington Capitals lost their second straight last night, falling to the Vegas Golden Knights 5-3 in a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup Final. The Caps surrendered 4 goals in the third period as they fell to 15-9-3. Next up for the Capitals is a 9pm skate tomorrow against the Coyotes on NBC SportsRadio 1450.
The Redskins have signed Josh Johnson as a backup to Mark Sanchez. Johnson is a former 5th round pick of Tampa Bay and the first pick of the San Diego franchise in the new Alliance of American Football.
And, free agent pitcher Patrick Corbin and the Washington Nationals have agreed to a six-year, $140 million contract. Corbin was 11-7 with a 3.31 ERA for Arizona last season.
