Ravens Rout Cowboys, Lions Roll Over Tech, UVA and WVU Games PPD
In an NFL Tuesday Night game, Lamar Jackson threw for just 107 yards, but ran for 94 as the Baltimore Ravens doubled up the Dallas Cowboys 34-17. Gus Edwards added 107 yards rushing in a 294-yard Baltimore ground attack. With the win, the Ravens end a 3-game losing streak and improve to 7-5. Dallas falls to the bottom of the NFC East at 3-9.
In college hoop, Penn State cruised to a 42-23 halftime advantage, and never looked back in a 75-55 win over Virginia Tech at Cassell Coliseum. With the loss, the number-15 Hokies fall to 4-1 on the season.
Elsewhere in college basketball, tonight’s scheduled matchup between number-18 Virginia and number-4 Michigan State has been postponed due to coronavirus issues affecting the Cavaliers. Meanwhile, number-11 WVU’s home opener has been canceled because of COVID-19 protocol issues inside the Robert Morris program.
And, no changes among the top 6 teams in the latest College Football Playoff rankings. Alabama holds the top spot, followed by Notre Dame, Clemson, and Ohio State. On the outside-looking-in are Texas A&M and Florida.
