Area HS Hoop…SU Basketball Tonight…Caps Losing Streak Now At 6

Skyline beat Culpeper 43-32
Warren County over Manassas Park 47-18
Clarke nipped Central 70-68
Madison beat Strasburg 43-30
Millbrook routed Sherando 82-58
Rappahannock fell to Mason 38-13
Page defeated Stonewall Jackson 58-27
It was Tandem Friends 58, RMA 37
and Wakefield Country Day fell to Chelsea 31-20
In boy’s basketball:
Culpeper nipped Skyline on Sports Radio 1450, 60-58
Sherando fell to Millbrook 64-34
Kettle Run beat James Wood 60-42
Manassas Park ran past Warren County 77-54
Page defeated Stonewall Jackson 63-48
and Wakefield Country Day got past Chelsea 34-22
The Shenandoah University basketball teams are back in action tonight. The SU women entertain Virginia Wesleyan at 7, while the Hornet men travel to Lexington to take on W&L in an ODAC contest. You can hear that one on The River 95-3 starting around 6:45.
The number-3 Virginia Cavaliers had no problem with Wake Forest in a 68-45 win in C’Ville. The ‘Hoos are now 17-1 on the season.
And, the Washington Capitals losing streak is now at 6 after an overtime loss last night to San Jose, 7-6. The Caps squandered a late lead in falling to 27-16-6 on the season. The Capitals will try to turn things around tonight in Toronto. Air time is 7:15 on Sports Radio 1450.
