Brady To Tampa Bay, SU Baseball 13th, Davis Reunites With Rivera
The big news in sports yesterday was the exit of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady from New England, and his expected signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 42 year-old Brady signaled his departure with a series of social media posts, ending a 20-year run with the Pats. “Tom Terrific” leaves New England with 6 Super Bowl rings and 41 playoff starts. There is no official announcement yet regarding an official signing with the Bucs.
Despite sports being at a standstill at SU, there was still a D3baseball.com poll this week. Shenandoah University dropped 2 places to number 13 nationally. The Hornets are 10-2. Cal Lutheran sits at number one.
Linebacker Thomas Davis has found a home with the Washington Redskins in NFL Free Agency. The former Panther and Charger is now reunited with ex-Carolina coach Ron Rivera. The 37 year-old former first-round pick played for Rivera in Super Bowl 50.
