SU Sports Update…MLB Playoffs…Caps Back On The Ice

Men’s golf finished 10th at the VSGA Intercollegiate in Suffolk, Va.
Women’s soccer blanked Eastern Mennonite 5-0
And Gettysburg beat women’s volleyball 3-1
Eastern Mennonite visits SU in field hockey
Shenandoah hosts Randolph in men’s soccer
And volleyball travels to Notre Dame (Md.)
In the MLB Playoffs last night, Cody Bellinger’s walk-off single in the 14th inning plated Manny Machado with the winning run as the Dodgers beat
Milwaukee 2-1. With the win, LA evens the best-of-seven NLCS at 2 games apiece. In that game, former National Gio Gonzalez left early with an ankle injury and was removed from the Brewer’s postseason roster. Game 5 of that series is this afternoon at Dodger Stadium.
In the ALCS, the Red Sox hammered the Astros 8-2 to take a 2-1 series lead. Game 4 is tonight in Houston.
The Washington Capitals try to break a 2-game losing streak tonight when they entertain the New York Rangers. The Caps are 2-2-1, and currently in 6th place in the Metro Division. Air time is 6:45 on NBC SportsRadio 1450.
The Washington Wizards tip off their NBA regular season tomorrow when they host the Miami Heat.
