SU Update, Nats In LA For Deciding Game 5, Stars Top Caps In OT

SU football heads to Randolph Macon Saturday in an ODAC matchup. Air time is 12:30 on The River 95-3.
The Washington Nationals are back in Los Angeles tonight to face the Dodgers in a deciding Game 5 of their National League Divisional Series. The Nats will send Stephen Strasburg to the mound to face LA’s Walker Buehler. It’s the first Game 5 start for Strasburg, who enters tonight’s game with an 0.64 postseason ERA. Buehler one-hit the Nationals in 6 innings of work in Game 1. Air time is 8pm on Sports Radio 1450, with first pitch scheduled for 8:37.
The Braves host the Cardinals in Game 5 of their NLDS this afternoon.
And, the Tampa Bay Rays have forced a Game 5 tomorrow in Houston with a 4-1 win over Justin Verlander and the Astros last night.
The Washington Capitals were beaten by the Dallas Stars 4-3 in overtime last night. The Caps, who are 0-for-11 on the power play in their last 2 games, take on Nashville tomorrow night at 8 on Sports Radio 1450.
And in the WNBA Finals, the Connecticut Sun nipped the Washington Mystics last night 90-86 to force a deciding Game 5 back in DC tomorrow night.
