State Police Investigate Deadly Page County Crash
Virginia State Police are investigating a deadly three-vehicle crash that took place in Page County.
A 2020 Kia Telluride was traveling west on Route 211 Monday (6/24/2019) afternoon when it ran off the left side of the roadway a tenth of a mile east of Bixlers Ferry Road. The vehicle crossed the median and collided head on with an eastbound Chevy Impala; the impact of that collision caused the Kia to strike an eastbound GMC Envoy as well. The Kia’s Driver, 37-year-old Johnathan D. Kite of Elkton, died at the scene, as did the male driver of the Chevy whose identity has not been released. The GMC’s driver, a 27-year-old female from Luray, was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
