Statewide Missing Senior Alert Issued for Loudoun Man

The Virginia State Police have issued a statewide missing senior alert.

The alert is on behalf of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, which is searching for 87-year-old Albert Vandegriek of Sterling. Vandegriek stands six feet two inches tall, weighs 195 pounds, and is a white male with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen on April 22, 2019 at 2 p.m. driving a 2004 Subaru station wagon with the license plate number ZJ-2363, and was wearing a black and white shirt with gray pants at that time. Vandegriek suffers from a cognitive impairment; anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact 911.
