Winter weather closings, cancellations and updates in the northern Shenandoah Valley. Updated December 18 at 10 a.m.

Schools:

Winchester City Public Schools are on a 2 hour delay today with a plan B day scheduled for students

Clarke County Schools has already had a non-student day planned today Dec. 18

Rappahannock County Public Schools is now under a remote learning day for all students

Front Royal Christian School is closed

Powhatan School is closed

Frederick County Schools are closed to students are expected to complete online assignments as normal. Administrative offices are on a regular schedule for today Friday Dec. 18

Shenandoah County Public Schools are under virtual learning through Tuesday Dec. 22

Warren County Public Schools are closed to students but it is a virtual snow day today Friday Dec. 18

Communitie’s updates

Clarke County has rescheduled trash pick up for Saturday Dec. 19 for Berryville

Clarke County has begun snow removal in downtown Berryville watch for closed roads. Roads will re-open when they are cleared

Front Royal has moved yesterday’s trash pick up to today Friday Dec. 18

Front Royal Manassas Avenue Extended Site is closed today Friday Dec. 18. Plans are to have it re-opened tomorrow Saturday Dec. 19
