Strasburg Considers Consultant For Park Planning
11 November 2018 News
Strasburg is set to consider hiring a consultant to update the town’s master park plan following a recreation, parks and trails committee meeting that happened on Thursday. The issue of building a skate park was the main point of discussion, as the members of the group that wants to build it, push for a final location decision for it. Before the group can seek funding for the construction of the skate park, they need to know specifically where it would be located. Town Manager Wyatt Pearson recommended hiring a consultant, to which the committee agreed, with the purpose of evaluating the best location for the skate park. According to published reports, a vote on weather or not to hire a consultant is expected on Tuesday.
