Strasburg paper mill donates much-needed supplies

23 April 2020 Covid19 Shenandoah County News

Mercury Paper, a paper mill in Strasburg, is donating over $27,000 worth of supplies to those in need this week. The supplies include toilet paper, facial tissue and paper towels. Altogether, the supplies total over 65 pallets.

“We have been a part of this community for over 10 years now and value the people, the culture and the area,” said Adam Boulware, Director of Manufacturing Operations at Mercury Paper. “We are fortunate to be able to provide help during this challenging time and do so with gratitude to the community.”

The supplies will be given directly to Valley Health to support those on the front lines. Any surplus will be given to United Way, which will distribute the supplies to nonprofits focused on helping veterans and others who are struggling.
