Structure Fire In Frederick County

At approximately 8:38pm on December 12, 2017, Frederick County Fire and Rescue responded to a structure fire at 135 Gregory Place in Frederick County.
Crews arrived approximately 10 minutes later to find two separate mobile homes on fire. The bulk of the fire was knocked down in 10 minutes with all visible fire extinguished by 9:25pm. The fire damage was contained to two outbuildings and the exterior of two mobile homes with a third receiving radiant heat damage to the vinyl siding.
There were no injuries reported to firefighters or occupants however, one civilian was transported for possible smoke inhalation. Red Cross was contacted to assist one occupant who was displaced by the fire. The Fire Marshal’s Office has identified the area of origin as the outbuilding of the residence at 135 Gregory Place. Total fire damage loss is approximately $60,000.
This is an ongoing investigation.
County units from Greenwood, Clear Brook, Millwood Station, Round Hill, Stephens City, Frederick County Fire and Rescue Battalion 10 Duty Officer, Frederick County Fire Marshall’s Office and assistance from Winchester City and Clarke County, all responded to the incident.
No further information is available at this time from the Fire and Rescue Department.
