SU co-producing second feature holiday film
The movie, “A Cupid For Christmas”, features 20 Shenandoah University students and 11 student crew members.
Actors Richard Kind, Melanie Stone and Ryan Carnes are taking the lead roles.
Shenandoah University’s Director in Residence Blayne Weaver with Shenandoah Conservatory Adjunct Assistant Professor Paul DiFranco are heading the project.
This is the second movie co-produced by Shenandoah University and Los Angeles-based Capital Arts. The first film “Santa Girl” is currently streaming on Netflix.
“A Cupid For Christmas” is one of the first full-length feature films to receive approval from the Screen Actors Guild with COVID-19 restrictions in place.
Filming is expected to wrap Aug. 10.
