Sunday’s storm caused power outages for SVEC

Sunday’s winter storm dropped 3 to 6 inches of heavy wet snow in the region causing some power outages.

Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative reported almost 3,000 outages in the region.

All power was fully restored by 8 p.m. last night.
