SVEC award Operation Round Up Funds

According to a press release from Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) 11 organizations in the valley are the recipients of Operation Round Up funding.

SVEC members can round up their bill to the next dollar to generate these funds.

Recipients in the fall campaign include Page Free Clinic of Page County to offset expenses in bringing remote pop up clinics to those in need.

Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging received funds to help provide free meals to residents of Winchester, Frederick County.

Sinclair Health Clinic also received funds to help offset the cost of providing healthcare to those without insurance in Winchester, Frederick and Clarke Counties.

Six organization from Rockingham County also benefited from operation round up funds.

Two agencies from Augusta County received funding as well.

In all SVEC was able to distribute $18,000 through the generosity of it’s members.
