Culpeper residents charged for fentanyl and firearms

The Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force wrapped up another lengthy investigation with the arrest of two Culpeper residents.

Daiquan Thompson and Octavia Richards were arrested in the 300 block of Wine Street in Culpeper.

With the execution of a search warrant the pair were found to be in possession of 670 pills of pressed fentanyl and two firearms.

The drugs seized have an approximate street value of over $16,700.

The pair are facing numerous charges including possession with intent to distribute a schedule 1 or 2 drug, possession of a firearm while in possession of drugs and child endangerment.

Thompson is a known gang member and is being investigated for violating probation conditions as well.

Both subjects are being held without bond at the Culpeper County Jail.
