A fatal two vehicle accident caused delays on Rt. 55 Sunday afternoon.

65 year old Austin Howard of Front Royal was killed after the Ford Ranger he was driving crossed the double yellow line colliding with a Ford F150.

The two occupants of the F 150 were injured in the accident the 42 year old unidentified driver from Maryland was treated at the scene.

The F 150 7 year old passenger was transported to the hospital.

The Virginia State Police continue their investigation of the accident.
