Shenandoah National Park has been honored as a 2024 Leave No Trace Spotlight destination!

The newly launched Spotlights program aims at addressing the environmental challenges faced by areas by engaging proactive communities.

Be a part of this initiative and join the Subaru/Leave No Trace Team from June 14th to 16th for a range of activities.

Blue Ridge Wildlife Center host WildFest 2021

The Blue Ridge Wildlife Center presents WildFest 2021 Sat. Sept. 11 from 11 a.m. to 4.

Wildlife Ambassadors, Interactive games and events will be available along with representatives from local environmental organizations.

Food trucks will also be available at the Clarke County’s Rotary Club Fairgrounds on Main St. Berryville.

The event is free with donations encouraged to help support Blue Ridge Wildlife Center’s hospital and educational programs.

TVRC Valor Awards tickets are now available

Top of Virginia Regional Chamber’s (TVRC) Valor Awards Dinner tickets are now available.

The Dinner honors those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in Winchester, Frederick and Clarke Counties.

The dinner and ceremony is Sep. 2 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Frederick County Fairgrounds.

Winchester Park and Recreation summer events

Winchester Parks and Recreation announces their summertime events.

This Saturday Jun. 12 you are invite to swim under the stars at Jim Barnett pool from 7 to 11 p.m.

No registration is required for the swim with fun activities and music provided.

Next Sat. Jun. 19 from 7 to 10 a.m. is the Family Day Fishing Rodeo at Wilkins Lake.

Registration for the rodeo can be made through the 18 or the day of the event at the lake call (540) 662-4946 for more information.
