Logan Maiataco Foundation donates AED to FRMFL

The Logan Maiataco Foundation made a donation of an automated external defibrillator, or AED, to the Front Royal Midget Football League.

AEDs are sophisticated yet easy to use life saving devices that aid in the event of a cardiac arrest.

The device greatly improves the safety of close to 1000 players, spectators, and volunteers that attend games each weekend.

Awareness of cardiac arrest in athletics and the need for AEDs at every facility has risen greatly since the on field incident involving Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills last season and more recently, USC basketball player and son of Lebron James, Bronny James.

The donation also falls in line with Logan’s passion to help others as the former Skyline football star was preparing to become a firefighter before his passing.
