News Maker Andrea Cosans on C-Cap’s Freedge

Winchester’s Congregational Community Action Project (C-Cap) has officially opened  a free refrigeration unit that has fresh produce.

They call the unit the Freedge and it is available with fresh produce for families in need.

The unit is available for both pick up and or drop off at the Our Health Campus Winchester.

We spoke to C-Cap’s Executive Director Andrea Cosans about the Freedge in our latest news maker.

She also tells us that the Freedge is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

United Way Day: Winchester CCAP

We chatted with Elise from United Way Northern Shenandoah Valley and her guest, Andrea Cosans from Winchester CCAP about the impact her agency has had on those in need in our community. Andrea explained the role Winchester CCAP serves helping residents of Winchester/Frederick County through their food pantry, housing & financial assistance. Elise reminded us about the Rubbermaid Sale happening on Saturday, January 29 from 9am – 12pm in the Belk parking lot at Apple Blossom Mall.
