Strasburg Police seek information on two cases of vandalism

Strasburg Police are investigating a case of a vandalized home and vehicle twice in as many months.

Several social media post from several Strasburg sources have shown vulgar words spray painted on the side of a home.

Many of those post have since been removed because of the vulgarity.

A recent incident included car windows being spray painted in the night as well.

Strasburg Police are monitoring the home and have some leads.

WPD respond to reports of shots being fired

The Winchester Police Department (WPD) reports responding to reports of loud arguing and shots being fired in the Gray Ave. area.

WPD Chief Amanda Behan indicated that the investigation revealed little evidence in the way of bullet holes or shell casings or the shooter.

Social media post report several streets were blocked off by police as the search for the shooter advanced.

The probable shooter was described as a shirtless black male wearing sweatpants with dreadlocks in a bun.
