VH opens Community Wellness Festival tomorrow 3/19

Valley Health (VH) announced their Community Wellness Festival begins tomorrow Mar. 19.

This year the event is a week long event with a number of screenings and consultations available through Sat. Mar. 26.

The festival will not be available on Sun. Mar. 20.

There will also be heart attack risk awareness programs, COVID-19 vaccinations and more.

The Wellness Festival will be held at the Apple Blossom Mall this year.

COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Apple Blossom Mall changes it’s hours

In a social media post from Valley Health (VH) it has been announced that the hours will change at the Apple Blossom Mall vaccination clinic.

The clinic will now be open Wednesdays and Saturdays only from noon until 7 p.m. through Dec. 11.

The COVID-19 vaccination clinic has administered nearly 12,000 doses of the vaccine.

Other vaccination locations can be found at valleyhealthlink.com or at vaccine.gov.

VH states in the post that they are extremely proud to serve the community over the last 7 months at that location.

Something to do on this election day with the WPD and the young recruit Leo

This being election day Nov. 2 and many schools and government offices are closed.

The Winchester Police Department (WPD) have something for you to do according to their social media post.

This will include Leo the WPD’s young Police dog recruit so adorable.

The Officers of the WPD are bringing back color with a cop.

Before or after you vote young and old are invited down to color with a cop.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today Nov. 2 at the food court of the Apple Blossom Mall come down and color along side the men and women of the WPD.

VH offers Johnson and Johnson vaccine

Valley Health announces the Johnson and Johnson vaccine is now available at the Apple Blossom Mall clinic while supplies last.

The Johnson and Johnson vaccine has been approved for persons 18 and older.

The Pfizer vaccine is also available at the clinic and has been approved for people 12 and up.

The clinic is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m..

In an effort to make vaccinations as convenient as possible Valley Health opens a new COVID-19 vaccination site today May 12.

The new clinic at Apple Blossom mall is beside Victoria’s Secret use the H&R Block entrance for easiest entry.

This clinic will provide first and second doses of the Pfizer and the Moderna vaccines.

The Johnson and Johnson vaccine will also be available all vaccines are based on availability.

Both walk in and appointments will be honored at this clinic.

Valley Health (VH) is opening a walk in first and second dose COVID-19 vaccination clinic May 12 at Apple Blossom Mall.

The site will be open three days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mon. and Wed. 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sat..

The clinic is expected to have the Pfizer vaccine available but it depends on what is supplied by the state Department of Health.

Those interested can confirm the type of vaccine at valleyhealthlink.com once the clinic opens.
