Bids will start being taken for replacing the signage at two different schools in Shenandoah County starting today Fri. Feb. 19 at 1 p.m..

Funding for the renaming of Stonewall Jackson High School and Ashby Lee Elementary would come in part from this year’s budget.

The actual funding won’t be known until bids and estimates of cost come in.

Then Superintendent Mark Johnston will go to the School Board for a reallocation of funds.

Meanwhile Shenandoah Forward has been established to help offset the cost.
