Lt. Governor Sears joins Winchester National Night Out Tonight 8/2

The Winchester Police Department (WPD) announced that Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle Sears will be attending tonight’s National Night Out.

Sears will be with the Winchester Police Department showing her support for her local law enforcement and backing the blue.

She is scheduled to be at the Loudoun Street walking mall at 5 p.m. with the WPD.

The former Marine was first elected in 2002 to the house of Delegates and has continued to serve her country and state in a number of positions.

Sears is the first female Lieutenant Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Join the Lieutenant Governor and the over 40 vendors for free food and fellowship with local law enforcement in this National Night Out tonight Aug. 2.

News Maker Lenny Millholland on National Night Out

National Night Out is a week away Tuesday August 2.

The night is a chance to meet our men and women of law enforcement and first responders.

We spoke with Frederick County Sheriff  Lenny Millholland about Frederick County’s plan for the event in our latest news maker.
