FCSO wins the Battle of the Badges

Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) garnered the most support in the Battle of the Badges blood drive on Friday.

Their Office won the trophy for the most donations against Frederick County Fire and Rescue.

In all 98 units of blood were collected and all involved are grateful.

The need is greater than ever this year and donors are urgently needed.

But with the pandemic ending necessary surgeries are starting to take place and blood is needed.

FCSO Vs. FCFR in Battle of the Badges

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) and Frederick County Fire and Rescue (FCFR) hold a Battle of the Badges.

Blood donors on July 9 will be offered a blue or red ticket to be deposited after donating.

The organization with the most tickets wins the trophy.

Make an appointment to give at redcrossblood.org and use the code battle2021 for a July 9 appointment.

You do not have to be a member of either organization to participate in the Battle of the Badges.
