News Maker Jason Parsons on the Butterfly Run for BRH

The 20th annual Butterfly Run to benefit Blue Ridge Hospice (BRH) is Oct. 15.

We spoke with BRH Chief Business Development Officer Jason Parsons about the event in our latest news maker.

News makers are brought to you by Warren County Together We are Community.

Jason tells us about the celebration planned for the 20th year of the run.

He also tells us that there is still time to register for the race/walk here.

Jason also tells us that even if you don’t want to participate in the run/walk it is worth the visit for the celebration alone.

Middletown and BRH host anniversary fireworks

christmas parade canceled

Tonight at 7pm, Middletown will set off a firework display to commemorate the town’s 225th anniversary and Blue Ridge Hospices 40th anniversary.

Middletown Community Park will host the display.

There are plenty of viewing opportunities throughout the town.

If you are able to watch from close to that area, that would be ideal, as the show is set to music.

You won’t want to miss this one as Middletown and Blue Ridge Hospice have come together to provide a display that will rival any Fourth of July show.
