The Virginia Department of Transportation is advising motorists to stay on the lookout for icy spots throughout the Shenandoah Valley.

Some areas may have refrozen throughout the night.

Pay special attention to bridges and overpasses.

VDOT continued to treat the roads through last night as needed.

All major interstates through the area were reported clear but minor to moderate winter weather road conditions can still be found on primary and secondary roads throughout the surrounding counties.
