Celebrate kids day rain or shine

virtual trauma informed training

The Warren Coalition and Warren County Parks and Recreation are celebrating our community rain or shine.

Many of the activities schedule for Sunday, September 24th,  were able to be moved inside the 15th Street gym.

There will be pumpkin painting, inflatables, a cake walk and music to name a few activities.

The pitch burst will still be operating outside.

The rain should taper off, so the petting zoo and pony rides are as scheduled.

Safe Halloween option from Sherando’s band

Sherando High School’s Band Boosters and Students are putting on their 15th Annual Safe Halloween Sunday October 30th from noon to 4 pm.

This family friendly event invites you to the haunted hallways of Sherando High School for one of the band’s largest fundraisers.

Last year the safe Halloween celebration welcomed nearly 800 children and their parents which supported the band that just earned their sixth consecutive unanimous Superior rating.

Tickets cost $5 and include access to the Haunted Hallway, a cake walk, moon bounce, Halloween games, and of course, candy.

The event takes place indoors so there is no need to worry about the weather.
