In a press release from the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) the investigation of the death of a 3 year old has been launched.

The report came in from the 1200 block of Triple J Rd. Clarke County that the child had been shot.

The preliminary investigation relieved that the shooting may have been accidental pending additional investigation.

As this is an ongoing investigation no additional information was available at this time.

The CCSO is being assisted by the Virginia State Police (VSP).

The release went on to ask that we keep the family, law enforcement and emergency personnel in our thoughts.
