A news release from the Town of Front Royal reports all town offices will be closed starting at 11 a.m. Dec. 8.

The closing includes the Front Royal Business Office, Town Hall, Departments of Public Works, Energy Services and Visitors center.

Also no solid waste will be collected on Dec. 8 either.

The drop box will remain available for any bill paying behind the town hall on Main Street Front Royal.

The closing is to allowed all employees to enjoy the town’s Christmas luncheon celebration together.

The town will resume normal operations tomorrow Dec. 9.
