News Maker Jen Avery on Christmas for Kentucky

The relief effort continues for Western Kentucky with a third truck leaving for Kentucky from Middletown on Monday.

The response has been tremendous and we thank everyone for their generous donations after the devastation caused by the horrendous weather last Sun. Dec. 12.

Today and tomorrow Dec. 17 and 18 there is an effort to bring toys to the kids in Kentucky.

We spoke to Jen Avery about the effort to make Christmas for Kentucky in our latest news maker.

The good news is brought to you by The Town of Front Royal.

Jen tells us about the collection of toys that is going on for kids of all ages.

Robert Hupman will take those toys down to Kentucky Sun. Dec. 19.

Jen told us that if the collection is large enough a second truck will make the trip.

Jen also tells us that donations are being matched by two Rotary clubs as well.

You can make a donation at 23 Church St. Front Royal until 7 tonight and 9 to 5 tomorrow.

Your donation could make a big difference to kids who might otherwise go without this year.

Thank You.
