Milling and paving to begin in Front Royal
The Town of Front Royal has announced that milling and paving operations will begin on Monday, November 13th between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm.
The work will continue through December 1, 2023.
The crew will be working on the following streets: Braxton Road from Leach Street to Polk Avenue, Manassas Avenue from Happy Creek Road to E. 6th Street and E. 6th Street from Commerce Avenue to Happy Creek Road.
There will be partial street closures and flagging operations in place.

Front Royal hosts public hearings Monday
The Town of Front Royal is holding three public hearings on Monday at 7:00 pm at the Warren County Government Center’s Board Meeting Room at 220 N Commerce Avenue.
The requests being discussed include a Special Use Permit for a daycare at LifePoint Church and two different Special Use Permits for short term rental properties on Main Street and on E. Lee Street.
Information on those requests are available at the Office of Planning and Zoning at Town Hall.
All interested members of the community are invited to attend these hearings to express their views.

Commerce Avenue road closure
Commerce Avenue will be closed to traffic on Monday, July 25th from 9 am to 1 pm.
Kickin’ Asphalt is contracted to mill and repave the the portion of Commerce Avenue between 6th Street and Royal Avenue.
Motorists will be directed to a detour down 6th Street to Royal Avenue.
Signs will be posted and drivers should be aware of the crews working in the area.
