In an email from Handley Library the announcement was made that the library is teaming with Winchester Public Schools (WPS) for Computer Science Education week.

Computer Science Education week is Dec. 6 through the 11 and is designed to encourage students to learn more about computer sciences.

Several free activities are being offered geared toward students K-12 but can include the whole family.

For starters the whole family can participate in the 5 plus Makerspace Monday program Dec. 6 starting at 4 p.m..

There is a week of activities scheduled including information on coding and debugging.
