Fun Fact May 19, 2021
We’ve seen a few of these lately, a queue. The word has a couple of meanings, one is a braid of hair, usually hanging from the back of the head. The other meaning is probably more familiar, that being a line of people or vehicles waiting for something. Sorry I was late, but there was a long queue at the gas station. It’s a British term, here in the US we just call it a line. The term is also used in the world of computers. It’s a series of messages or tasks waiting to be processed. You may have had to deal with something getting stuck in the print queue. Here’s hoping your queues are short and your wait brief.
