News Maker Joanne Koszyk on Camping for Hunger 2023

Collections of nonperishable foods and monetary donations are ongoing in preparation for  the 15 annual Camping for Hunger.

Front Royal Warren County Congregational Community Action Project (C-CAP) benefits from the effort.

The River 953 and Fox Sports Radio AM-1450 will be at the Royal Plaza Shopping Center 24 hours a day starting Monday November 13 collecting for C-CAP.

We spoke to C-CAP’s Executive Director Joanne Koszyk about the event in our latest news maker.

News Maker Lonnie Hill on 13 years of Camping for Hunger

Camping for Hunger has been helping to supply Congregational Community Action Project (C-Cap) feed those in need for 13 years.

Afternoon Traffic Jam (ATJ) host Lonnie Hill has been a part of the effort through those years and he is our latest News Maker.

The good news is brought to you by the town of Front Royal.

Lonnie speaks of the trails, tribulations and the rewards of Camping for Hunger.
