The Page County Sheriff’s Office reports on it’s social media page that they responded with the Stanley Fire Department to an explosion in Page County.

The explosion occurred in the Connor Farm Phoebe Lane area of Stanley on Sunday Oct. 17.

Investigators found evidence that 38 year old Kevin Conner had been killed in the explosion.

Preliminary indications are that Conner was working with a 120 gallon propane tank when it exploded.

The explosion caused extensive damage to the building and witnesses say they heard and felt the effects several miles away.

Conner’s body has been taken to the Medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
