A news release from the Warren County Economic Development Authority (EDA) announced a contract on the sale of the Baugh Drive facility.

The contract on the  sale of the property was approved on Fri. May 13 to the Shahi Food Group for $5.7 million.

Shahi Food Group projects a $7 million capital investment in the facility.

Shahi also projects a 5 year employment projection of 100 individuals.

The group would like to begin operations in late fall of this year.

Shahi Food Group has been an ice cream producer for over 30 years with distribution to over 2000 retail outlets.

The group already distributes to 20 different states including New York, New Jersey, Texas, Ohio and Virginia.

The company has been given approval to distribute their product in Europe as well.
