REC expands its workforce and readies for tonight’s 1/6 weather

An email from Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) confirms they are recovering from Mon.’s storm and prepared for tonight’s Jan. 6 chance of inclement weather.

REC has called in additional support in advance of the storm and to assist with past repairs.

The cooperative and their support have already restored more than 30,000 members who lost power in the previous storm.

REC has called in additional support with hundreds of mutual aid workers on their way.

Those on the way will join the over 1,000 employees who are already on the job for REC.
