VH leads the commonwealth in vaccinations
Despite a fluctuating supply of available COVID-19 vaccine Valley Health (VH) the Lord Fairfax Health District (LFHD) and Virginia Department of Health (VDH)are currently vaccinating more individuals per capita than any other district in the Commonwealth.
With the availability of additional vaccine VH looks to dispense another 10,000 first doses by February 1.
VH urges patience with scheduling of vaccinations.
Online availability is listed every weekday at noon at valleyhealth.link.com/c19vaccinations as well as offering a new phone number at 888-441-5294.

S.U. opens a vaccination POD
Yesterday Jan. 12 approximately 300 COVID-19 vaccinations were administered at the James R. Wilkins Jr. Athletics and Events Center at Shenandoah University.
The Point of Distribution or POD opens to the general public today for 12 hours as of 9 a.m..
The POD is open to Tier 1b individuals which includes those 75 or older, educational staff K-12 and first responders.
Pre-registration is requested at valleyhealthlink.com/c19vaccinations as the POD is open to anyone in the Lord Fairfax Health District.
The facility is expecting to administer up to 1500 doses each day it is open.
