Excellent Police Work leads to an arrest in Warren County

On the night of October 8th, Warren County Sheriff’s Deputy Doffermire observed a vehicle making evasive moves to avoid law enforcement.

Recognizing these unusual behaviors, Deputy Doffermire decided to investigate further.

Upon developing probable cause, Deputy Doffermire conducted a traffic stop, which led to further investigation and a search of the vehicle.

The search resulted in the discovery and seizure of crack cocaine, methamphetamines, two smoking devices, four spoons with white residue, and $343 in cash.

The driver William Leslie Moore III now faces criminal charges including possession with the intent to distribute.

BRNGTF investigation leads to four arrests

The Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force and the Prince William County Police Department Street Crimes Unit announced the execution of a search warrant on March 23rd at a residence on Toms Way in Fauquier County.

Officers uncovered a variety of illegal drugs including 104.17 grams of fentanyl, 43.3 grams of crack cocaine, 38.45 grams of powder cocaine, 29.5 grams of methadone, and 51.7 grams of marijuana, $4,285.11 cash, and 7 handguns, one of which was reported stolen.

Tanya M. Dodson, Quintin J. Gilliam, and Timon D. Koregan were arrested on a variety of drug and gun charges including possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I/II substance, possession of a schedule I/II substance, and possession of a firearm while in possession of schedule I/II substance. 

Timothy Fields was also taken into custody due to four outstanding warrants.

All are being held without bond at the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center.

Four Winchester residents arrested after search warrant

The Winchester Police Department executed a search warrant on Thursday, February 23rd at 4pm on the 400 block of South Cameron Street that led to the arrest of four Winchester residents.

During the search, officers recovered several grams of Crack-Cocaine, 70 unknown pills, a handgun and $1,600 cash.

Rondelle Jackson, 51, was charged with Failure to Appear for a Warrant.

Barron Gordon, 36, was charged with Contempt of Court.

Marvin Cooley, 54, and Tavious Jones, 25, were charged with Possession of a Schedule I or II Drug.

Jones also violated his probation.

Additional charges may be made at a later date.
