Hop Blossom Festival takes over Old Town

The 9th Annual Hop Blossom Craft Beer Festival is back in Old Town Winchester today from noon – 6 pm.

This year’s event will feature over 40 breweries and 80 different craft beers, some of which are exclusive to the festival.

Local vendors will be placed around the festival and the restaurants of Old Town will be open with food specials.

Winchester Brew Works is hosting the event with proceeds going towards Dakota’s Dream Animal Rescue and the Winchester Main Street Foundation.

So far, the annual festival has raised over $85,000.

VBM Halloween Party with the Dead

The Dead Rise Again at the Virginia Beer Museums Halloween Party and final show of this year’s concert series.

The Grateful Divination Band will take the stage from 6 to 9 pm tonight bringing some of the Grateful Dead’s music with them.

Along with the special musical guests, there will also be guest beers on tap.

Three Notch’d Brewery and Dogfish Head will sell some of their signature brews.

The Virginia Boomuseum will also offer spooky tours of the museum all weekend.
