The AM. Red Cross Blood Supply is now at crisis level
An email from the American Red Cross announced that blood supply levels are now at crisis status.
The email went on to state that doctors are now forced to decide which patients receive blood transfusions and who must wait.
At this critical stage donors are asked to make an appointment for the future at a blood drive.
An appointment at a time near your home can be made at redcrossblood.org by using your zip code.
Anyone making a January donation will be entered to win a pair of tickets to this year’s NFL finally or a home theater package or a $500 e-gift card.
Donations are desperately needed at this time with appointments available well in advance.
Blood donors are able to give every 56 days.
