MSV welcomes kids for Gallery Explorers
The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley is inviting children for their next installation of their Gallery Explorers program.
Today’s session starts at 10:30 am and will focus on how settlers of the Valley created their own textiles, ranging from spinning their own thread and yarn to quilting bees.
MSV’s lead educator Sarah Perks will lead the course and participants will create a cross stitch decoration to take home.
Please register online before arriving and if you can’t make it today, another session will be held on Tuesday.
