The House of Hopes Empty Bowl Supper is set for April 30 on Main Street Front Royal.
We spoke with coordinator Jen Avery about the event in our latest news maker segment.

She also tells us about some of the other events that are coming up in the Warren County community.
Jen is also a member of the Warren County Rotary Club and reminds us that the Bike Ride with Rotary is set for Apr. 9.
The bike ride benefits Reaching Out Now and Cars Changing Lives.
Also the Women’s Resource Center plans their Dare to Dream Awards event on Mar. 24 that includes an online auction to benefit the center.

News Maker Joey Waters on Dare to Dream Grant Deadline
The Front Royal Warren County Women’s Resource Center deadline to apply for Dare to Dream grants is fast approaching.
We spoke with a Chairperson for the Dare to Dream Program Joey Waters in our latest news maker.

Joey tells us who is eligible for the grants.
She also explains how much and what the grants can be used for.
Joey also explains the process for applying which has to be done by Jan. 14 but she explains that there could be a little extra time.

FRWRC open applications for Dare to Dream Grants
A press release form the Front Royal Women’s Resource Center states that applications are now open for the Dare to Dream Grant Program.
The grants are open to Warren County Women who are 18 or over who would like to start a business or need equipment for a business or to continue their education.
Applicants can request grants of up to a $1,000 with one grant of $1,500 available for an educational purpose.
The grants will be awarded in March and can be accessed at FRWRC.org with more information at (540) 636-7007.
