Page County Sheriff Chad W. Cubbage wrote on Page County Sheriff’s Office social media site that the Page County Sheriff’s Office has received a grant.

The grant totals $200,000 from the U.S. Department of justice.

The grant was applied for by Ms. Tina Sumpter for the department according to the post.

The monies will be used to implement de-escalation training for the agency’s deputies.
