Those wishing to vote by mail in the November 2 election have until 5 p.m. today Oct. 22 to request a ballot.

The Virginia board of elections reminds voters that they can apply for an absentee ballot at the Department of Elections’ Citizen Portal or download a paper application and submit it to your local Voter Registration Office.

Applications received after today Oct. 22 cannot be accepted.
