Winchester PD has New Deputy Chief
Winchester Police Department has a new Deputy Chief, Paul A. Cleveland of Winchester. Deputy Chief Cleveland will begin his new role beginning October 12, 2021.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University and has successfully completed numerous executive level training. Including Leadership in Police Organizations, Leadership in Changing Times, Drug Commander Academy, DEA Leadership Academy, Force Science Institute, PELS, and the Naval Post Graduate School for Leadership. Paul and his family have lived in Winchester for nearly 20 years.

WPD promote Amanda Behan
The Winchester Police Department (WPD) have promoted Captain Amanda Behan to the rank of Deputy Chief of Police.
Behan has been with the WPD since 2001 holding a number of positions as well as being a part of Northwest Regional Drug Task Force and General Investigations Unit.
Behan has become the second woman to rise to her current rank in the 200 year history of the department.
